About Eliza

Eliza has a very good foundation in young horse production having been trained and worked for Tim and Antonia Brown from the age of 14. Eliza was brought up in a hugely knowledgable family her mother Gina evented up to 3*, a member of the Junior European Team, her father Clive hunted and point to pointed. She was a member of the Fernie Pony club, hunting and eventing whilst her competitive career kicked off in working hunter ponies where she qualified numerous ponies for the Royal International Horse Show and Horse of the Year Show. Eliza worked with Pippa Funnell for a winter as a stable jockey 2012 learning at the hugely successful “Billy Stud”, after successfully completing her degree with a 2:1 in History of Art BA Hons 2015 she became the stable jockey for “Future Sport Horses” producing stallions and youngsters to event. Following this she worked for Oliver Townend as a stable jockey for the winter 2015/2016. Eliza specialises in young horse production, having produced and qualified 11 horses for the Burghley Young Event Horse final over the past four years. She is looking forward to building up a team of top level horses up to 4*.
