About Laura

Laura, 25 year old professional dressage rider based in Six Hills, Melton Mowbray. Laura completed her British Dressage Apprenticeship with her mentors Hannah and Becky Moody and since 2008, she has had many riding achievements include: Northern BYRDS B Squad Reserve Champion, Northern BYRDS A Squad Champion 2008, BD National Championships Novice Open 2008 on 2 horses, UK Elementary Champion BYRDS Home International 2008, BD Young Rider Talent Spotting Champion 2008, BYRDS A Squad Reserve Champion at Hartpury CDI 2009, British Equestrian Federation Regional Training Programme 2009 & 2010, BD Young Professional Award Finalist 2010. In 2011, Laura was awarded the prestigious British Dressage Young Professionals Award judged by Carl Hester and Nicola Buchanan. Since 2011, Laura has set up her own dressage yard in Leicestershire. She competes and trains a wide variety of clients with great success. Her own horse, Contender, also known as Edward, has progressed through the levels and they are now training at PSG with the Moody's and David Hunt.
